They met several years prior at a party with mutual friends but reconnected via Instagram and started dating in 2019. Throughout the first several seasons, Nicole did not have a romantic interest but that changed on season 2 when she introduced her long-distance boyfriend, Alejandro Padron.Īlejandro is originally from the Dominican Republic but had moved to New York City. Nicole played a big part of brother Pedro’s story line on both 90 Day Fiancé and The Family Chantel as she and her mother would often team up and go head to head against Pedro’s wife, Chantel. Pedro filed for divorce on May 27, 2022, according to documents obtained by In Touch. Unfortunately, their marital issues reached a point of no return. Chantel complained that Pedro was too focused on his work and didn’t spend quality time with her while Pedro insisted that Chantel was not being supportive of him and his dreams. While it should have been an exciting time in the couple’s marriage, it seemed to mark the beginning of the end as they fought over communication issues. The couple had also experienced major life milestones too, as Chantel had finally graduated nursing school and was working a job in her field, the couple had just purchased their first house and Pedro started a new career working in real estate. Chantel believed that the issues in their marriage started after they returned from a trip to the Dominican Republic - which ended in a blowout fight between Chantel, sister Winter and mom Karen and Pedro’s mother and sister, Lidia and Nicole. When they returned for season 4 of The Family Chantel, Chantel and Pedro’s relationship had hit a major rough patch. And then he was like, ‘Well, you’re not bound! You can go!’ And then he said it again and I was just like, ‘OK.’” “I asked him, I said, ‘Why are you asking me this? Do you want a polygamous relationship?’ And he said, No.’ And then, by that time I was just like a bit drained and I was just tired of listening. He said, ‘What would you feel if your daughter was in a polygamous relationship?” Winter told her family and they reacted in disbelief. However, shortly after their engagement, Jah proposed Winter with a lifestyle change as part of his religion and it led to their permanent breakup. The shocking results of the investigation revealed that Jah, who had already told Winter about his youngest child, was hiding the fact that he also had an older child from Winter.
